ELKHORN, Wis. — (March 24, 2011) —The Walworth County Visitors Bureau recently filled two vacant staff positions. Audra Lange is the new Group Sales Manager, and Raven DeLange, the new Executive Assistant.

Lange’s responsibilities include soliciting group sales accounts on the local, state, regional and national level, as well as looking for partnership opportunities within the county and region. She is also responsible for the acquisition of new memberships for the Walworth County Visitors Bureau. Lange is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Management/Promotions. Through her internships at both American Players Theatre in Spring Green, Wis. and Young Auditorium in Whitewater, Wis., Lange has had experience in drawing visitors to tourism venues. Originally from Hustisford, she currently resides in Whitewater.

“I’m very excited about all of the activity relating to group tours – such as attending expo’s tradeshows, and conferences. These give me the opportunity to create lasting relationships with the people who make decisions about bringing group tours to our area,” says Lange. “I can’t wait to see what the future will bring for Walworth County!”

Raven DeLange, a Certified Administrative Professional (CPS) received her certification from the National Association of Administrative Professionals. She is responsible for fulfilling inquiries about all there is to see and do in Walworth County, keeping the event calendar up to date, and communicating with “friends” and “followers” on social media sites. DeLange also extends a warm Walworth County welcome to all who step through the doors of the Visitors Bureau.

DeLange remarks: “Much of my experience has been in the area of customer service, so I enjoy working with people to provide them with a positive experience. Since this is such an important aspect of tourism, I’m glad for the opportunity to, in some cases, be the initial point of contact that visitors have to our area.”

An avid theatre aficionado, DeLange has worked behind the scenes in set, make-up and costume design and performed with various theatre groups and bands. She resides in Sugar Creek Township, Wis. with her husband Jeff, owner of DeLange Custom Services.
