The Sportsman Channel Explores More Than Fishing in Lake Geneva Area
Angling the Great Lakes Tours Walworth County, Wisconsin

ELKHORN, Wis. — (December 3, 2009) — Avid sportsmen who have fished the waters of both Delavan Lake and Geneva Lake in Southeastern Wisconsin know that these lakes are ideal fishing waters. What they may not know is how much more there is to do in Walworth County if you want to take a break from fishing. On the Angling The Great Lakes show, airing on The Sportsman Channel on December 15 at 2:30 a.m., you’ll be given a glimpse of what else the area has to offer. Other showings for the program include Friday, December 18 at 7:30 a.m.; Saturday, December 19 at 8:30 p.m.; and Sunday, December 20 at 6 p.m. The program will also be featured on local affiliate networks on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

In addition to fishing on the Geneva and Delavan lakes with Reddy Guide Service, the show will highlight some of the many other tourist attractions to be found in the area including:
  • Grand Geneva Resort featuring the famed Geneva ChopHouse restaurant, and The Brute and The Highlands award-winning golf courses
  • Yerkes Observatory, home to the largest lens-type telescope in the world, located in a beautiful park-like setting in Williams Bay

  • LaGrange General Store & Backyard Bike Shop, located in Whitewater near the Kettle Moraine Forest, rents and sells bicycles, skis and accessories and offers a delicious variety of healthy, homemade sandwiches
