Lake Geneva Canopy Tours - Now Zipping!
Guests Gear Up for a 2-2.5 Hour Eco-Adventure

Lake Geneva, Wis.--(March 10 , 2011)--The Lake Geneva area is known for stunning lakes providing plenty of water action, prestigious lakefront mansions, and notable year round events. But nature lovers, thrill seekers, and outdoor adventure enthusiasts will now have another option. LAKE GENEVA CANOPY TOURS began gearing up guests this month for a 2-2.5 hour, one of a kind eco-adventure. Guests fly through the canopy of the forest over 8 ziplines, crossing 4 SkyBridges (one being 240’ long), and climbing 3 spiral staircases. Taking a SkyBridge out of the canopy of the forest, they land on the mid-level deck of a 45 foot tall launch tower. Breathtaking views of Lake Como abound as they proceed to the upper deck level. This is the final launch, a Dual Racing Zipline over 1,100 feet long, known to have riders reach speeds of over 35mph. The latest Wisconsin destination, Lake Geneva Canopy Tours is an all season zipline adventure park with plans to be open 7 days a week.

On a Canopy Tour, guests enjoy the thrill of ziplining, taking in spectacular views of the forest and stunning vistas while their trained guides share information on the ecology, biology, geology and local history of the area. Each season provides a distinct view of nature and each day on the course can present a different experience.

Lake Geneva Canopy Tours is situated on 100 acres just north of downtown Lake Geneva and is designed to appeal to everyone. There is no age limit; however, Canopy Tour guests must weigh between 70 and 250 lbs. The adventure park offers guests the Full Canopy Tour with Dual Racing Zip, a ride on the Dual Racing Zipline independent of the full tour, hiking trails and a picnic area.

Centrally located between Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison and Rockford, Lake Geneva Canopy Tours is Your Skyway to Adventure. Groups are welcome. Online reservations are recommended for the Full Canopy Tour but not required. No reservations are needed for the Dual Racing Zipline, subject to availability.
